    The vet gave me a few packets of Purina Veterinary Diets Fortiflora when Paolo had gastritis as he was throwing up back in January. It took care of it quickly. Last week he was throwing up at mid night as before. I started giving him this product again (I bought it on Amazon) and the first night I gave it to him it took care of it. It will take care of any diareaha too. As long as it's not a serious illness this product works great. Paolo has a sensitive stomach.

    This is something you can give daily also, I used it daily when C-Me was in whelp and also after she had the pups, since she was eating high protein and high fat. It is a great probiotic… but I have used human brands too

    My boyz (almost 13, almost 12) are on Evo small bites. One gets probiotics in the evening meal, the other not. Both are on joint sups.

    If they are too hard - how about adding some Flax Seed - I'm think that more fiber might help. or a small bit of Karo Syrup.

    Maybe there's some mineral imbalance. Check out Dinovite on the web. It contains different earth clays and probiotics.

    Personally, I don't like to see that many grains so far up in the ingredients list. I feed raw, though, and am of the opinion that dogs don't need grains at all. To me, it's just filler. I'd like to see a couple more meat sources, especially some sort of meat meal a little closer to the top. I also don't like to see menadione on the list at all.     LOL! Me too…both rhyming body parts. Thanks for the laugh, Andrea...I was reading it and didn't "get it" at first...I'm reading your prior posts in this thread looking for "butt"...then I re-read it and literally laughed out loud!!
