URGENT in Gainesville, FL

  • CROSS POST

    Good afternoon,
Daisy is a young, healthy, already spayed and heartworm negative dog that has been placed on Tuesday?s euthanasia list due to our space issues and the length of time she has been with us. Daisy has been here since August. Our volunteers have this to say about Daisy: ? Daisy likes to explore the yard and sniff around, but after a bit she comes up to hang out with humans. She has a calm energy level and is really quite sweet.?
If anyone can save Daisy please let us know before 8:30 am Tuesday morning.
Thank you for all you do in saving the lives of animals.

Can he contact a local vet that he can make a deal with to pick the dog up and hold him? I can't believe a shelter would put a dog to sleep when the owner will be picking the dog up. That makes no sense!

Buddy, They won't take the girls to the shelter, they will keep them until homes are found. Both of them are nice dogs. Heinz, it may just be because you are out of state, I'm not sure they are wanting to ship the girls. Beth

OMG Anne, ya think? Arwen isn't a delicate flower at about 25 pounds. Cara is probably 30 nor 31 now (taking in to vet next week to weigh), and Cara is tall. She also has longer body and longer neck so when heads are up she is about half a head over Arwen. At 8 mos old I wonder if I'll have a 40 pound dog when her body matures and fills out! Okay maybe 35. :( Where is my petite 17 pound bitch I hoped to have one day? LOL. Oh well.
