New Tracking Book: K9 Trailing; The Straightest Path

    Hi All,

    I know some of you are interested in tracking work and I have a new book recently published by Alpine Publications called K9 Trailing; The Straightest Path. This is a no-nonsense approach to tracking/ trailing work based on my actual manhunt deployments. It is a step by step program and the first in a series of three books. Amazon has been sold out on the book for over a month but I have limited edition hardcover and soft back books at our facility that I can sign for any interested. Right now is the time she must learn you can check her teeth, look between her toes, check her ears, etc. At some point in life, it may be critical, so training her NOW is important. But it can also be relationship building and fun. :) Mary has one of the easiest to follow sites. You just start working on training so that she comes to see you as the one to guide her.     @Hana: Hana wags her tail a lot when greeting us, it sort of unrolls out, whips around, curls back up, wiggles and waggles floppily…. I was surprise how much she unrolls it and rolls it back up though, I think depending on her mood. Her happy tail flopping around is the cutest thing ever !! That sounds really cute. The more I hear about basenjis the more I think no two are the same. LOL

    I'll show this to my niece…she has three pits and was involved in rescue until her son was born two years ago. She is a HUGE pit advocate. Sounds like something she might like.

    Thanks for your replies. I've started giving Sonia Glucosamine w/ MSM every day and we'll see how she does. I'll give you an update in about a month and let you know if it's helped or not.
