    I am on vacation in the Grand Caymans. Have been here 4 days and I can't believe how much I miss my 2 furkids. I know they are safe at a friends house but miss them all the same. Even my husband has admitted that he misses them.:(

    Time to go home and get the babies. Vacations are not much fun when your missing your furkids. How much longer before you go home? Try to have fun.

    Maybe your next vacation should be at the dog park?

    Have fun, enjoy a drink with an umbrella in it! That will lift your spirits!!!:)

    Rita Jean, I have been here since Sat. and I leave this Sat. so I am half way through the vacation. 4 days left.

    Vicki-I have been enjoying the island spirts. Last night was fun at our resort. 30 people over the age of 35, it was mojitio night with a live steel jamaican band. Lots of crazy dancing under the stars and it ended with a dip in the pool, clothing optional.

    Sounds like your having fun. Way to much info about last night LOL… I am not even going to ask about the optional. You better rest a little those furbabies are going to be ready when you get home. Have fun and enjoy.

    I wish they could go everywhere with me but I couldn't imagine trying to get them on a plane. We are going to lake Erie in a couple week for a long weekend and they are coming with us. This campground is very dog friendly, this is the campground's annual halloween party before shutting down for the winter. Everyone is asking us to bring our dogs and of course they will be dressed up in costumes. After that we are taking a week to go to Cancun. Dog's can't go but will staying with a friend that has 1 acre fenced and her 3 dogs and mine were practically raised together. So we call it a sleepover. Everyone plays until exhaused so not a lot of time to get into trouble. I will miss them while I'm gone but know they are in great hands with my friend.

    Sonny has only every barked at one person since he was a puppy….my mother :eek:.....he barks at her every time we go visit the house or he see her anywhere..and he barks & yodels till he feels she's given him enough attention! people always get a kick out of it when they see it because other wise he never makes a sound :p

    I recently returned from a week's vacation and picked up Gossy from her "vacation" (she stayed with the breeder). She was happy there but still happy to see me. When we got home though she was just crazy - running everywhere, couldn't chase enough squirrels, throwing blankets and pillows off couches and beds - I didn't know whether she was happy to be home or just getting back at me :D
