I ordered a stuffed basenji from Total Basenjis, www.totalbasenji-osh.com
I was surprised when I opened the box and she had sent me 2 stuffed dogs.
One which I had paid for, and one for me to get to BRAT to help basenji rescue.:)
I have to say, as kind as this woman is, her stuffed b's are wonderful as well.
So, if you want to buy something from Donna Troyna, please thank her for helping b's who are not her own.
Tell her Sharron said hi! -

Oh good Lord! I want one. No wait, I want a real one. I showed this picture to my husband and he reminded me that we have a moratorium on buying any more stuffed animals. We've got far too many stuffed red and white cats that resemble my special cat Barney. Oh, and he is special. I ask him to sit and he will. I place my palm in front of his face, as a request to get him to concentrate. Then I place my open palm in front of his front legs. He 'shakes a paw' then, all of this with only sight commands. I have also trained my cats to obey when I snap my fingers. If they are doing something they shouldn't do, I snap my fingers and point away from the area where they are causing the problem. They then go away. Oh, I could go on and on with what I have taught my cats, but this is a basenji forum! :)

Donna is AWESOME! She did a bunch of the trophies for last year's National…and she was very, VERY generous to us. Her work is great, and she is just a really good person!

Thanks, Sharron. I've done the training with lots of respect for my animals. Their state of mind always comes first. I find that there is the element of 'wanting to please' from them.
At the Seattle Dog Show I picked up a pair of 'basenji socks' for me. They make me want to run around in capri pants so I can show them off, even though capris and socks are a little odd looking together. :)

Quercus, your so very right, re Donna. So very generous.
Fran, I am at the age where I dress as I please, your still young, but there is nothing like the freedom to know that you can do what you want.
Laugh.
At least where clothes are concerned..giggle. -

I know she did the puppies, but did she do the embroidered towels too? Those were cool. I particulary like the b/w puppy because it almost has the same markings as Zoni. :)
