That is why this judge won my heart…he said, she had a good b, she did good, but the dog wouldn't move on the wet grass...
Anyway, seeing how this young girls tears touched this judge...I just think he is wonderful.

The International shows are the ones that give written evaluations. Though the UKC judges that I have shown to have been pretty approachable and willing to share what they see in a dog.
UKC also has a pretty cool Juniors Program where kids can start as young as, I think, 3 years old with their parent in the ring with them as they show their dog.
I would highly recommend giving them a try and it is even better if you can go with a friend.

Just wanted to add written congrats to Jocelyn! She has become an excellent handler in a very short time and we've thoroughly enjoyed watching her progress.
