    @DebraDownSouth: WTG! OMG though 103.. so you have to beat dogs, not individual shows points,or are the wins high points or what for a championship? Here a champion is 15 points, but you must have 3 majors (ie a win worth 3 to 5 points) in that. IOW the most you can get for a win is 5 pts. That would be 2 majors, not three

    That is why this judge won my heart…he said, she had a good b, she did good, but the dog wouldn't move on the wet grass... Anyway, seeing how this young girls tears touched this judge...I just think he is wonderful.

    @lvoss: The International shows are the ones that give written evaluations. Though the UKC judges that I have shown to have been pretty approachable and willing to share what they see in a dog. UKC also has a pretty cool Juniors Program where kids can start as young as, I think, 3 years old with their parent in the ring with them as they show their dog. I would highly recommend giving them a try and it is even better if you can go with a friend. Ethan would LOVE that!
