For those of you that are fans of the show and interested in showing… one of the catagories tonight is "a day at the dog show"... filmed at Silver Bay Kennel Club show....
About 12 years ago, the question was "What is a Basenji? (don't remember the exact clue). None of the contestants even had a guess. It's very very rare that I know an answer the contestants do not!
@Forever:
Yes we talked to one of the Bs owners right before we left her name was Laura (Tammen's Basenjis) She helped me out alot talking to me about zoe i'm so glad I met her.
There was a fuss after the showing that delayed the next breed (a whippet owner was very upset about that) we asked laura about it and she mentioned that about the behavior.
Laura is very nice, has very nice Basenjis and is a good breeder….
@Maya:
Sorry, no pics at the show as i hadn't taken my camera :(
I did just post some of her taken last night :D
Next time… bring your camera!!! :D
The other pics are very nice :D
mine DEFINATLY yodels!! lol. and in several vocal tones!! i love it, but i have heard him let out a normal bark before, and a kind of "snuff" if you know what im trying to say, lol…
I wish I could see this. My dial-up service is soooo slowwww! But the "chunky" basenji pup sounds like its a funny one. I have to try and remember to open this link up at work.
