Visiting Germany

Does anyone know the requirements to go to Germany just to visit from the USA? I see a lot on moving to Germany…but I'll only be staying 3 weeks.

I know about getting a health certificate 10 days before...but that's it.

That's all you should need, the certificate should still be good for when you leave. I can call my vet and ask them. But there should be no difference then when flying around with a pet in the states, because there is no quarantine or anything like that. I'll call the vet later when they open and ask for you.

I also think it is alll you need. Kiya would need to have a valid rabies vac. and a paper from the vet stating that she is healthy.

I just talked to the vet and they said that all you need is the health certificate and all vaccinations are up to date.

I'm coming to Stuttgart, as my parents both live in Steinenbronn still. I really want to visit with both of you guys! :)

Hi you either have to print the papers , fill them out and fax and send them to VDH. (You do not need to fax them but i think the closure is soon). If you fax you also have to send them the originals by post.

Or you can rigister at DISC. That is an online-service. You would have to choose Dortmund and enter all your data online.
