    Go to the Basenji Club of America's web site (BCOA). To find Basenji breeders go to the Breeder Directory. Breeders are listed by state.     Thanks for the info. I'll check those sites out. I prefer a puppy but willing to take one up to 2 years old. Sounds like I'll have to wait till winter.

    I think that many adopters would pay for the cost. And add to that if it is a situation that a person has contacted BRAT to give up the dog and he/she is not tested then they should be required to put up that fee. I think that BRAT does an excellent job in most respects, however this is one point that I really disagree with not testing. I am not sure that they would agree to test even if people covered the cost

    Hi There, I live in Mid-Michigan and we are expecting our 2nd litter here in couple of weeks. We are not breeders but we have 3 basenjis, 1 is from our last litter. She is due within the next couple of weeks and they will be ready to go closer to the beginner of February. Feel free to contact me if you'd like. -Shelda
