Grinding Teeth

I could use some help... My 12 year old male has been grinding his teeth at night while sleeping. So much so that it wakes us up... I've heard this noise during the day too when he snoozes. Is this anything to be worried about ?? It just started happening and it's seems super odd?

@3basenjimom Agree, a vet visit. I have never seen a post on grinding teeth before so it’s very unusual.
