• OK, I'm just so proud, I have to brag everywhere!
Our grand old man, Tex, Ch. Illusion's Rio Grande of Dune, was entered in the Veteran Sweeps and the regular Veteran's class yesterday. He was Best Opp in the sweeps, won a special award for being the oldest Veteran, and capped of his day by going Best in Specialty over top Specials! At age 12, he showed like a young boy in his Prime. He had a great time and so did I! He's still Da Man!

  • Congrats… that is super... who else won?

  • Houston

Terry..I am so proud of him and you..awesome…

  • Somehow such results at a more senior age seem just a little more special - well done!

  • WB and BOW was Wanda's AB Service While You Wait, WD was Kasendo-Tutu Special Agent Gibbs, BOS was Signet Meisterhaus Gossip Girl

Poor Tex was worn out - the judge really made us work for it! We went round and round again and again… He was so tired we had to literally drag him out of his crate to get pictures.

  • Congrats, where are the photos?

Wanda's Seri (AB Service While You Wait) is the litter sister to our Franie and Trip.

    Congrats to all the winners

  • Seri was WB and BOW again today, and Wanda's black and white boy (forgot his name, and the catalog is still out in the motorhome…) was WD! I know it finished Seri, not sure about the boy. So she had a great weekend too!

  • Yeah, Seri and Jet! I knew Seri just had 2 points left after Friday, I'm not sure about Jet though.

  • Oh, and Congrats to Tex too! Please bring him to the National if you're coming this year. We're trying to encourage people to bring their Vets with a cash prize for Best Vet from the regular classes (one at the BCOSW specialty preceding the National too).

  • Would LOVE to bring him! He hasn't been to a National since his very first one in 1999 in Phoenix. For many years we weren't able to go to very many as we were both teachers and the National always hit right after school started, making it hard to take time off. Now that we are retired, we are going to make up for lost time!

Seri was RWB on Saturday, but finished her championship in style on Sunday with another 4pt major… She finished her championship with 5 majors...

I told Franie, she needs to get on the stick...ggg... of course have to find shows with majors... hard to do around No Cal these days
