    Just wanted to announce that we have breed BOSS AKC GCH/MBIS Int. CH/MBIS/MRBIS/Int.&Nat. Puppy CH/MBIS&MRBIS UKC Gr CH Tammen's Sparks Will Fly AOE has been breed to CH Jokuba C-Quest First Round Knock Out. We are expecting lovely Black/White and Red/White pups. If Dre is tri factored like EV is we may even have a few tri's.

    There is a whole world out there . We lived in Hawaii when we got ours. N.Z for $2,000 He was worth it. Most of the cost was the air fare. morse.stafford@gmail.com

    I very much doubt that you will find a Basenji in the UK this coming winter. Covid seems to have convinced so many people they can now have a dog - and they light upon Basenjis for a number of reasons, often without going thoroughly into the challenges of ownership of one of these challenging little animals ! All the breeders I know have full waiting lists even after filtering out all but the most promising future owners. I haven't bred for over 10 years but enquiries for puppies still come in, several a week - two just this morning. We just have to hope that irresponsible people won't mate un-health-tested dogs, just to cash in on demand. It all depends on the allergy - whether a Basenji will or won't affect your wife. They shed, often pretty constantly throughout the year instead of one big winter-coat moult although some lines do have that.

    @debradownsouth He was Arrested and then he died. I will refrain from posting Horse related posts. You just did not believe me when I said Horses are taken to Great Adventure. Now regarding the Basenjis relation to Wolves: Mu dog loved the Wolves and when I would walk the Wolf and the Dog in the Park the Dogs there which included Rotties, Saint Bernards, Bull Mastiffs all pulled their owner out of the Park because Dogs instinctively fear Wolves. Thannks!

    If funds are an issues, you can do what I used to do before BRAT came along. Find out the vet of the family your placing him with, have the family pay you for your expenses and then take the dog to the new familys vet for the surgery to be fixed. Drop the dog off the day of the surgery and then new owners pu the dog. They get to pay the bill. That makes sure the dog is fixed, sets up a new vet record for the new dog in the family, and you don't have to pay anything out of pocket. Mostly, you know the surgery WILL BE DONE. Thanks for making sure he is fixed before rehoming. That is so important.
