    Chelsie-the B's don't get a chance to see them. The B's are in the front in a pen and the ducklings and chickens are in the back. After Shadow decided to help me butcher a chicken when we first moved in, I thought it prudent to keep them separated. They would definitely terrorize them. Yes, Robyn, I made the duck tractor. It has wheels on the one end so I can move it around. I do have a duck pen, and they will go in it when I fix the duck house. It seems rats, or something decided to make a meal of the one end and floor of the house. So, I have to fix that. I do really like it, but it won't be big enough in a couple of weeks for them. I will try to get more pics of the little monsters today. (And, the pen will work very well for one of the dogs if I ever need it!!) Yes, they grow very, very fast. If I can get a pic of them up and about, you will see how it's very hard to tell which one had the spraddle legs. The rouens are bigger than the muscoveys. There are three rouens and they have an eye stripe.     I so wish this article would make it on the list of news worthy items to talk about on the news circuit through out the country..at least if it is seen by the millions throughout…maybe we can keep a few elderly dogs out of the shelters and off the streets.. Thank you so much for posting AgileBasenji..it touched me lots.. My two elderly dogs passed away in march and then again exactly one month later to the day..in april..very hard for me and my hubby, but also for our kids..these two dogs had been in our lives since we were dating and they were there when we brought Sofia and Lukas home from the hospital...through illness, happiness and age we have loved, laughed and hugged these two boys...we miss them so much..

    You nailed that one, vickilb. What these knuckleheads have accomplished is proving the theory that housecats are miniature lions and behave accordingly when proper stimulus is applied. On a lighter side, I had a kitten in 1986 named Mischief who came from a large litter. She was in the kitchen (only cat present) when I was making a ham sandwich one time, so I tossed her a piece of ham. She picked that one up, so I tossed her another…and another (she put her paw over it)...and another (another paw)...until she had a piece of ham in her mouth and one under each paw, including her back feet. She was splayed on the floor, but, by gosh, nobody was going to get her ham. I couldn't resist it….I tossed a last piece of ham onto the floor for her. With her mouth full and all four paws busy, she just gave me the most helpless look. Unfortunately, we didn't have you-tube back then. Great memory, though.

    @tanza: I think there are aggressive dogs in all breeds, usually due to poor breeding, poor socialization, and/or medical issues. Personally, I love Doxie's… if it was not for the grooming on the Long Hairs and/or wires, I would have one (or two)... like any breed they are great when bred properly, socialized and do not have medical issues.. (they mostly have back problems for obvious reasons). Toy dogs I do find as the most aggressive... "big dog" complex.. IMO... but again, breeding and socialization goes a long way... and also, again IMO, people do not treat their dogs as a dog (with the dress up, carrying them all the time, treating them like something breakable) adds to the attitude they get.... Agree. And I don't mean to pick on Doxies :) That dog just left a scare on me! Haha. It's scary to be a 7 year old & this little weiner dog is attacking your leg like it's a chicken leg or something. Haha. However, I agree with Tanza & lVoss that it is all how the dog is properly bred & socialized. If you are aggressive to any breed they will probably become more aggressive. I have met some very nice doxies, chiuauas, pitts, rotis, etc. It's all how they are brought up. A lot like children I think.

    Of course I sat here crying as I read this :o …big SAP that I am! Kids grow up & move away but I know my pooches will be with me forever ;)
