I have put up a new member introduction. Zelda is our baby tri – 8 weeks in this video. Unlike our previous basenji, she can see herself in mirrors, reacts to shadows, and watches TV. Very interesting!

LOL, really cute - at first I thought, wait, you said you got 1 new pup? :D:D:D Then I realized she was playing with her reflection in the mirror. Super cute!! Does Zelda yodel to her reflection?
My pup Aaliyah (1yo) used to do the same thing. When my 2 adult basenjis wouldn't play with her, she would grab some toys and bring them to her friend (reflection) in the stereo cabinet. Her tail would flip wildly and she would jump around like Zelda is doing in your video. She would also yodel to her friend in the stereo cabinet. It was so cute. :D:D:D

Yes, you will have plenty of nose art on that mirror. It's a good sign she has been socialized and wants to play with someone.

LOL! Very funny.
No, no yodeling yet. Whines, cries, and a distressed scream that sounds exactly like a seagull. And a little play growl, which I think is the start, maybe, of yodel vocalization.

we are getting a female, we haven't seen her yet, hoping to perhaps see the pups next weekend. We cant pick though untill the breeder has picked at 8 weeks. The pups are Red and White and i would like to call her Malaika (Swahili for Angel):D

Sorry I couldn't resist - she is adorable and looks like she was just waiting for her pic to be taken. So cute!!! Just wait until she's full grown and still tries to climb into that basket! :)
