  • This, of course, was only allowed by us during the filming of this video… :D

I have a new iPhone, so have to practise the filming, uploading and sharing of a video while walking the dog... I'm doing pretty good if you ask me :D

(now I hope the video works…)

  • I can't really see - what is he trying to pull down in the video?

Have you edited movies on the iPhone yet. Just beware that with the current software that if you edit a movie it overwrites the existing movie you have - no way to keep a separate version. Ask me how I know :mad::mad::mad::mad:. Software version 3.1 is supposed to be released soon with that fixed.

Thanks for letting me know :D

Don't know exactly what's being 'defluffed'. I think it is some kind of isolation material.. They are building there..

I am pretty sure you can't just look at a mix and declare what it is. Scientific studies have debunked that over and over. Best to do a DNA test, in my opinion. I have a mix who was advertised as a Basenji Mix, and her DNA results confirmed it. If you just looked at her and made a judgement, it would be mixed: her color was all askew, her tail was half-curled, she was smaller and featured more slender face and feet than a pure-bred B. But, apparently, the 1/4 Min Pin (the ONLY other DNA in her sample) contributed some significant traits. Behavior and personality wise, Basenji rules the day. Again, I recommend a DNA test, and they improve by the day. What is this other B identity thing that is mentioned in this thread? Is it also a DNA test, or something else? Oh, and hey, your baby is way cute!

No idea, sometimes with mixes it's so hard to tell what the parentage is. I do think that your dog's head is a bit more refined than many of the pit mixes i've seen.

I agree with the others that although he seems to have Basenji in him - his head is def. not Basenji. As for the leg I'd have it amputated if it troubles him - He'll cope with 3 legs I'm sure, but certainly consult a specialist first. Please keep us updated.

After striking out with my first 2 B's I figured I'd give my other love a try! She is wonderful so far, potty training is kicking our butt..as with any puppy. We have only had her a week yesterday so I'm sure this is gonna be fun! She is giving us (my gf and I, our 3 cats and Sid) a run for our money! Sid is very jealous though, which is what we wanted. We need him to desire attention instead of just laying around all day long. Wish us luckkkk with the ol' man.

Thank you very much for the info. I will have to try the time out. He was crate trained as far as being house broken, but now when I put brownie in the crate all he does is whine.. I do have 2 older dogs. one that plays with him and the other, well he just growls at brownie. The mother that was there when I got Brownie was a white shepard, maybe that is where the broad nose comes in.
