    She is now fully sponsored to any rescue that takes her! I assume this means the $100 adoption fee is covered which includes her spay and vetting! If anyone knows a rescue that could take her, please let them know!     The thing with multi-generational mutts is that they tend toward the dog "default" which is the same look that you see in many street dogs and pariah dog, medium size, prick ears, and often tan coloring. Since basenjis are a primitive dog they share these characteristics.

    The shelter has a new Petfinder volunteer and Millie's pic is now up. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=9669934 Her behavior is very basenji. The way she approaches other dogs and even her somewhat aloof with strangers attitude. Like many basenjis though the way to her heart is through her stomach and she will be your best friend after a few treats.
