    I guess for some people he is too large for a Chi and not quite a Basenji-too small as he weighs 15 lbs. He is estimated to be 5 years old. If you know someone who might be interested in him or a rescue group that could take him, please forward the information. This boy is listed on Craigslist as urgent and here is his information and the link: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/pet/2772364788.html "CODY" needs a second chance. He is a male, Chihuahua / Basenji Mix. He has been at the Van Nuys shelter since OCTOBER 15, 2011. Because "CODY" has been at the shelter so long he is running out of time. Due to the shelter running over capacity he will be euthanized soon if he does not get adopted. Please if you are looking for a dog consider adopting "CODY" and giving him a second chance.     @sharronhurlbut: In case you all don't know, Joanne does a great job for all dogs, being the basenji mix rep. She is an angel on this earth. I can only help the dogs I do because there is a great network of Basenji people out there willing to help. I hope I can find someone who can help on this one, I don't usually have to ask Basenji people outside of BRAT but this is proving to be a tough one. I am trying to transport a little Basenji mix from Birch Tree, MO, where he was saved from being gassed, to his foster home in Wichita, KS. The person who pulled him from the shelter will drive him towards Springfield, and his foster mom will head east from Wichita. I am hoping to find someone around Springfield, MO who might consider transporting this dog part way to Wichita, Parsons maybe? I don't have a set date but I'd like to move him soon. He is about a year old, healthy, a little timid, good with other dogs. If you could possibly help this little dog I'd love to hear from you, please e-mail giza1@wildroseinternet.ca I have a picture of him but I haven't figured out how to get it up here.
