My EL D is 5 1/2 yrs and while he has settled down a lot he still tears things up (luckily just his blankets and beds) and trys to chomp on me (usually in the evening when I settle down and relax or watch a TV show) and runs around the house throwing his dog bed if I don't feed him on time :p
