    Hi! I just wanted to put this out there– Today we're volunteering for the Muttrageous Dog Wash that will benefit the Washington Humane Society.

    If anyone has dirty dogs or just wants to stop by the event, there will also be adoptables there. This is not a Basenji-specific event, but I know a lot of you have other breeds (that perhaps like the water, lol). So tell all your dog-loving friends to come out and support the puppies. Every dog deserves a second chance. :)

    The event is in Herndon, Virginia from 1-5pm today, August 17th.

    These are wonderful action photos! So glad you're sharing them. Would be nice to take my kids to a park like this. I'm going to have to do some investigation in my part of the world.

    @jys1011: I don't know what it means…but YAY HOORAY!! :D I can't wait to go & see a Basenji show. Supposedly my C3 is Ch & has been to shows before but I would NEVER believe this myself since he is SO hyper around other dogs. I don't know how he would ever make it into a ring without disrupting the whole event!! :D The wife did tell me there is a Show in New Jersey they will go to next year(Trenton area)…...when it gets closer I'll let you know. The more I think I'm learning about the Dog show scene, the more confused I get.......maybe that's why the wife leaves me home.[image: eusa_think.gif]
