Oddly enough, there is another person in Spain needing to rehome their Basenji puppy. The fellow's girlfriend does not like dogs. The topic is "Basenji puppy for adoption (Spain)" and the guy is @Luc21. Hope you can contact him.

Do you ship your Basenjis: Yes"Kenny" is a special needs basenji. He was diagnosed with early juvenile cataracts and will no longer be implemented in our breeding program. He is extremely well-socialzed, lovable, sweet and friendly. He loves children of all ages, as well as adults. He hasn't met a person he doesn't like.. even the vets!
Kenny is available to a home where he will have someone home during the day, and/or a female basenji companion.
I hate that I have to place Kenny, as he is the sweetest dog I have ever had… and a PERFECT bed dog.. but as a breeder, I must keep my numbers down and he would thrive in a home setting as an only dog or with a girl basenji.Kenny is OFA Probably Clear for Fanconi Syndrome.

By special needs I mean that he will be completely blind in time.
Kenny has no vision in his left eye and it is limited in his right eye.
In our home, you would NOT know that he is blind… but he knows where everything is... and goes through life with exceptional hearing and scent skills. He hunts in the yard as if he were any other dog. He plays and rough houses with the twins. He curls up and cuddles like any other dog.
The only issue: he is blind.
He takes eye drops every day and will need to do that throughout his lifetime. His needs are someone to spend a great deal of time with him (someone retired would be perfect).
There are no other needs beyond his vision impairment.

I went to your webpage and looked at his picture -oh, he looks so sweet.
I'm working on a friend of mine who'd be an awesome B-mama but her dh is pigheaded.Ha ha, but so was mine, so I'll continue working on her!

Kenny is moving to Virginia next week.
He will be loved by a basenji-experienced retired lady.
Yeah for Kenny…
he is the luckiest dog around! -
Yeah Kenny! Blind is never disabled… just poses a different set of challenges (my grandfather was blind from the time he was 21... I thought everyone 's grandfathers were blind!). Bery glad to hear Kenny has found a loving home!
-
Oh, yay! I've been thinking about him a lot and hoping that he'd find his forever home!
-
Yes, Kenny is very lucky to have this home…. and she is very excited to have him come join her!!
Now.... the TWINS need a home together... finding a home for two (young males, together) is waaaaayyyyyyyy harder than a blind dog!!
A basenji-experienced home limits the possibilities even more...
you'd think that being fanconi-clear would up the calls.... but dang it if it doesn't! -
Khanis… talk to me about the twins. We just had to put our guy down and I'm looking to add a "young male" to our household. I might even be able to add two if I play my cards right with the hubby... just send some info and I'll see what we can make of it.
