    So it may be with luggage, but pressurized and climate control. It did worry me that it could drop ti 41C, but that's rare.

    EDIT: " ​​Passengers flying on our Boeing 787​ aircraft, please note: The temperature in the cargo hold can drop to 5 degrees Centigrade​. ​"

    I meant 41 F, which is 5C. But I didn't fly on 787 so moot point anyway.

    Looks can be so deceiving- here is an article of a woman who adopted a rescue dog in N.J. Dog looks like a basenji - even her vet thought it might be basenji. She did an Embark DNA test - no basenji. Turned out the dog was a mixture of Mountain Cur, Rat Terrier, Beagle, and Boston Terrier. link text

    I agree, and people with real needs are being the ones punished by the others. Friends with long time service dogs support the tightened regs, but some are bitter they have to jump through hoops because of it. You're also not new to basenjis. That helps.

    There's nothing like a basenji in the works, from the way they instinctively lay with their had on the bum looking the other way ( I've never met a B that doesn't) to the way you KNOW they all rub on wet towels or play bow…it's all very endearing and in this breed you often identify traits that they all have, an insight into their genetics and their behaviors. I've never enjoyed a breed so much.

    I know that PetsMart sells several brands of products which claim to calm dogs down - some type of natural anti-anxiety pills. I don't know anything about them, so be sure to research it for effectiveness and safety before trying.
