Okay Alex, I'm not quite doubting the "helping part"... but I am fairly sure some "sunning" and "waiting to sample" is also part of the plan!

I agree, I see cattle dog/heeler in there. I really don't see basenji but I really like the picture with that happy, goofy smile…looks like a happy boy to me! Of it helps, I reached my conclusion based on the thickness of the ears (regardless of the fact that they stand), the coat type is thicker and has feathering at the back end which you can see on the "zane2" picture...the muzzle is thicker and bolder than a basenjis which tend to be more refined. Lastly, the body type seems thicker and stockier than the lean that is a basenji. All my opinion but I figure rather than just saying yes or no maybe you'd get more out of knowing the "whys" behind my answer

Jennifer; Thank you for the reply. Exercise is not an issue as noted above. My 15 yr old runs 5 to 6 miles a day and the younger ones do about 3. We also walk a lot as it is a small town and the neighbors, most of whom are elderly, really enjoy dogs that don't yap at them. LOL Rick

@Humanoid: Love those pictures :) I've been to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Surprised to see how many of you that actually was cycling….but it is kind of flat, so you don't have the same challenges as us up here :p Yeah, everybody has a bike here. I'm used to cycle around 20-30 km a day (school). So we make up for the flatness, by cycling for a long distance :p @Humanoid: In the winter, we just have to do other stuff … That's just great!! Looks like a lot of fun! It has been a long time since we had real snow and ice in the Netherlands..
