Wanted Adult In Upstate NY

Basenjis For Sale or Wanted
  • AhardrainA

I just lost my best friend my male Basenji that has lived with me for over 15 years. He was a rescue and had some trauma before I got him. He did not ride in cars, could not crate him, had no tolerance for anyone touching his paws awoke grouchy, and other typical bad Basenji traits but I loved him regardless. I am in my 50's live in my own home, work from home as a travel agent and have no other animals. I know a lot about Basenjis and they are the only breed for me. I fed him an organic diet that consisted of grains, fresh veggies, and daily cooked meats. He walked 2 to 3 times a day for exercise and sleep in my bed, under the covers. I live in upstate NY, in the country and would love to share my own with another B as soon as possible. Thanks Glenn

@inny said in A puppy or young adult Basenji wanted near NY, USA: Preferably near public transportation just out of curiosity, can you take a dog on the bus/subway in NYC? I've never been there, and I can't imagine a bus driver letting me onboard with my pup (unless it was a service animal), so... had to ask.

@hyacinthe Have you found a Besenji? I have a 5-month old male Besenji that I need to re-home.

Mindy is a beautiful Basenji and we are very interested in her if she is still available? She would be a perfect companion for our basenji Travis. Many thanks, Birkin family.

@DebraDownSouth: Still don't know why Debbi is really Terri, but at least I have the dogs sorted. Long story, but all with good reason :-) Teri is a good person and treats her dogs like kings. She does good by them and those pups deserve good homes… sooner than later we hope!
