GA-Female Brindle Basenji Mixes-1 Young & 1 Adult

Basenji Rescue
  • The person who has this rescue is having knee surgery and is needing to move at least 35 dogs within the next few weeks. I do not know this rescue nor do I know if the dogs are still available. I received an e-mail about them today. The rescue is in Hoboken, GA, in the SE part of the state, between Valdosta and Brunswick. It is approximately 70 miles NW of Jacksonville, FL. They are interesting looking brindle dogs. The dogs are supposedly spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. It states that transportation is available and the rescue may have a second location in Crosswicks, NJ.

    Here are their petfinder pages:

No. The two sisters were Bella and Honey, I don't think BRAT would change their names. They might not be ready for adoption yet.

I'm so glad that those girls ended up with such a good home, lucky them, and lucky you too! I really like the dark brindle one, I'd inquired about her, so I'm happy you have her. Now I know where she is. @avdpierre: Now I just need to find names….their names are Shotgun (not a girls name) and Bella. I would really like African names. My last B was Sundiata Ngoma Kibushi. He was the best B ever! I like the name Shotgun, though it may be better suited for a sporting dog, and as for it not being a girl's name, who sez? If it were me, I'd be keeping the name Shotgun, Bella? that would be the name I'd be changing.
