We stopped by his breeders farm on a ride last month and she sent me a photo. I posted it under the "Show Off" section. I am sure I must be like lots of new B owners. How did I miss out on all this fun for the most part of my life? He sure makes me smile a lot.

I have been bike riding 10 times with Siren. 8 of those times I have returned home limping or bleeding. Each time I go out I think I have the issue of cutting in front of the bike solved. Each time Siren finds a way to cut in front of the bike or try to go between the wheels. Siren understands the basic commands: come, sit, stay, and no. Unfortunely, she only understands when you have her undivided attention (meaning nothing else is around or moving).

That's great. Now you know what her security blanket is. hehehe. Something like that can actually brighten up a road workers day. Especially the sign holders who just stand there all day, to see a dog jumping all around the car then stare him down when there's no danger of him taking the bear at all.

I have a friend who swears by her Walkydog, takes her basenji for 6-8 mile rides when it is cooler. It evidently unclips easily if your dog needs a pit-stop. I'm afraid any one of my 3 would drag me to my death if attached to me on a bike. Anne in Tampa

could be. it also took me a long time to figure out the harness. I'll try again, this time with my hubbies assistance. We want him safe. This weekend my B was doing that sound right before they puke (gave him some rawhide bones) and I carried him to the bathroom and put his head in the toilet thanks to someone else's experience on this forum-sorry forgot who)and my daughter was laughing at me, but hey he threw up in the toilet and hopefully will in the future. I love how human they can be at times….really just like children!
