    Hi @Vesna, it’s interesting you say that about the spay. Our tri-color actually just got spayed this week and her coat shed before that. I noticed small amount of black hair growing in where she shed, hopefully it grows back. What phase is your tri-color at? Did this just happen?

    I can't listen to that, it would wake my girl up and well... I'm not into a "sing along" just now. ;) I will say that many canines howl and yodel and bay (at the moon, whenever a fire truck passes, etc.). I'm not certain that any one breed is distinctive enough to have a sound all their own, but many a proud owner would probably assert so.

    We use ones from Rukka. Not sure if they’re available everywhere but they are they best ones we have tried (others always fell off, especially in deep snow). I think having two Velcro closures on each sock has been key. I also prefer the soft shell ones as our B seems to accept them more and they don’t twist as much as the ones with a hard sole.     Kona looked around at this video. Some of the other ones on YouTube really get her excited, this one was more curiosity than anything else. It is amazing how basenji's sound so different….Kona's noises are sometimes almost inaudible. For example, if we are talking to our neighbors outside and she is on the leash she will baroo to try and get them to play with her and 3/4 of the time they never hear her!! We hear her every time, but then again she is our baby! :)
