There is also a link on how to "vet" breeders, question you should ask. https://www.basenji.org/learn/ScreeningBreeders.htm Also check out health testing yourself. You need to have the registration numbers and/or registration name and you can check at www.ofa.org Here is the link for questions to ask breeders.     @debradownsouth He was Arrested and then he died. I will refrain from posting Horse related posts. You just did not believe me when I said Horses are taken to Great Adventure. Now regarding the Basenjis relation to Wolves: Mu dog loved the Wolves and when I would walk the Wolf and the Dog in the Park the Dogs there which included Rotties, Saint Bernards, Bull Mastiffs all pulled their owner out of the Park because Dogs instinctively fear Wolves. Thannks!

    @roxandsweet: male vs. female registerable vs. non-registerable different colors Interesting, responsible breeders don't price according to color or sex. And AKC frowns on the practice of charging more for the papers, as do responsible breeders.
