    I'd love to find a brother for my 3+ yr. old B/W female "Blackjack". I have a home with a 6' fence, and I come home for lunch during the workday. I have two cats, but they stay segregated from Blackjack. She can't take "no" for an answer to play with them - and almost got her eye "swacked out." I'd be willing to drive a couple hours in any direction for a potential adoption. I'm outside Carson City, NV.

    I would also look on Petharbor and Adopt-A-Pet. It can be difficult to find one under 1 year of age. You might have to go farther in your search or perhaps raise the age to 2 years. Jennifer

    Hi rachel, I am looking to find a home for my basenji. Her name is Noel and she is 3 years old. She is a very good girl, lots of energy and very sweet. She knows basic commands. She just needs more time than I can give her. My recently had to take on my 6 month old granddaughter so Noel ends up spending tons of time in her crate.     Hi, welcome to the forum, nice to see someone elase from the UK here. Please tell us a bit more about your Basenji, have you any pics ? :D We lost our Basenji boy last year and have now got a 5 month old Puppy girl, Malaika. When we were looking for a Pup we were advised to go to shows to identify breeders.
