Need More Basenji's - Lure Coursing in Calhoun GA Thanksgiving Weekend

    Hey everyone, just putting this out there to get more interest in Basenji's lure coursing. I'm of course new to it, so I'm not an expert, but would be great to see more out there.

    Next weekend is an ASFA Region 7 event in Calhoun GA not too far out of Atlanta. (http://www.atlantawhippet.com/). I believe there is another event the first weekend in December too in Calhoun.

    I know of several already attending, but would be great to see more! :cool:

    I have a 1 year old female B that would love to play. Haven’t seen any Bs in this area. I live close to NOVA so if you set up a date I’ll gladly bring her to a dog park!

    Wife and I are empty nesters serious considering a Basenji as a companion pet. I've been searching for someone in Nashville area that might have one that we can observe.     I am pretty close to Turnersville, but I am in Philly, also drive to the shore in south jersey frequently. Would love to see my 10 month old running around with other basenjis. Let me know if you are ever interested in meeting up.

    We're thinking about having another lure coursing fundraiser in November. It was so much fun this last time. Here is the photo album from the photographer. Zoni - she's a natural, can't wait to run her for real. He's a bit of a goof (and looks like a kangaroo in the pic :) ). I was more thrilled to watch him run than Zoni.
