I used to use Frontline/Advantage on my males (both over the bridge now) but my female is super sensitive. These meds burned off her fur where applied! Now I use an herbal flea/tick spray made with citronella but it has to be sprayed (lightly will do) on her every day. I discovered, quite by accident, that it will kill fleas instantly. She caught a rabbit the other day and of course the fleas jumped ship and immediately started biting her - as soon as I sprayed she had relief.

Pippin only uses his when we are outside, he has a cowbell on it so he is heard should he go in and disappear in the brush..but for indoors it is nice to not have a collar on.. When he was younger (he is 17 wks now) I did have it on him all the time..wanted him to get used to wearing it and thought taking it off often might prolong the "getting used to it" part..

Isis is darling! By all means do a 'well baby' visit with your vet, and order the DNA swab for fanconi, huge peace of mind. I had a wonderful Isis many years ago, I love the name!
