  • Myself and my partner have entered our puppy Kai into the Spay Day 2010 Online Pet Photo Contest!!

Spay Day is The Humane Society of the United States' and Humane Society International's annual event to inspire people to save animals' lives by spaying or neutering pets and feral cats. Spay Day officially takes place on the last Tuesday of February?but events will be running all through the month! The 16th annual Spay Day will be Feb. 23, 2010.

Each vote is $1 and it is a great opportunity to celebrate our pets, raise funds for spaying and neutering!

To vote for Kai, please click below and even if you can't spare $1, it would be awesome if you could let your friends know, facebook, myspace… its for an awesome cause!

Well isn't she a sassy little thing? Thanks so much for the information. I had not heard of this one at all. I will Google it to get more info and find where to purchase! Deb

I can't listen to that, it would wake my girl up and well... I'm not into a "sing along" just now. ;) I will say that many canines howl and yodel and bay (at the moon, whenever a fire truck passes, etc.). I'm not certain that any one breed is distinctive enough to have a sound all their own, but many a proud owner would probably assert so.

We use ones from Rukka. Not sure if they’re available everywhere but they are they best ones we have tried (others always fell off, especially in deep snow). I think having two Velcro closures on each sock has been key. I also prefer the soft shell ones as our B seems to accept them more and they don’t twist as much as the ones with a hard sole. Here are the ones I am referring to: https://rukkapets.com/paw-wear/thermal-shoes-black
