Broomfield, CO Basenji Sitter Needed

    Hey, we are going up to Detroit for the weekend of 8/7 and I was wondering if anyone on the forum is around and knows of a dog sitter. We have one that we normally use but she is already booked. We would also be interested to help anyone else in the area by watching their pup or pups!

    Can't help you out there, sorry. But if you need a Basenji fix while you're here, just let me know! lol We live just south of Detroit, and 10 minutes from Metro, if that's how you're traveling. lol

    I doubt it would work but we are about 4 hours away in Snowmass and would consider it if there is any way you could make the trip here. We are from Michigan and are planning a trip to Detroit in October and are working on figuring out a dog sitter for that trip. We have a one-year female. It would be great to trade-out but I think are we are probably too far away from each other.

    @buxton-s-dad I remember tracing your boy for inclusion in the database on line and finding two further siblings from that litter. So - this morning I went back to the AKC website and discovered two more from this litter have been registered - so I have 5 in all from the 6. They will all appear this evening after I have finished entering all the incoming OFA test results !

Without any hesitation you would drive half way and meet me. This alone is an amazing act. I will never forget your kindness. My husband's cousin has offered to take our B and he has another dog which would help. Val Hey no problem. Glad you could find someone you know and who is closer.     some airlines will allow your pets in the passenger area. Cairo was flown down in a kennel under the passenger's seat. He was the size that would fit in a shoe box then, but hey…a little yodeling would be great for a trip to the alps.

    She-Ra goes to the door, then looks over her shoulder at us. Problem is, sometimes she's playing a game with us, where she just wants to see if we'll get up and open the door. We're putting a stop to that by putting her out forcibly if she starts to walk away so she knows if we get up to open the door she's going out. Period.
