Lance and Rebel playing at the Quincy Dog Park in Aurora, CO.

It was the first time they met, they grumbled a bit…then played chase. Sadly this meeting ended badly. Rebel just wouldn't stop trying to mount Lance and they got in a big fight.

Thankfully, no blood was shed. But I was in shock when Rebel kept biting and snarling at his owner when he tried to get him away from Lance!

Yes but i'm sure that they like it better this way!! I leave the sledding to the family when they come to stay! You certainly all look as though you're enjoying yourselves.

My girls have learned to leave the cat alone, pretty much, after scarring has occurred. Gemma though, keeps trying to get her to play - she makes noises and goes down in front of the cat, who of course, hisses and swats her a good one - she has more fur than Shaye, so she has some protection, but I swear sometimes that cat eggs her on, lying right next to her favorite toys, etc., so Gemma can't get to them. It's funny to watch.

Good luck! Dukati…thanks for the thread. I agree that is it is very helpful to get input on your pup and know what you're working with. I try to get brutally honest opinions if I can but it's hard to get sometimes with people you know personally. I've been thinking about doing one like this with Zoni but I haven't been happy with any of the pictures I've taken yet. Just a slight difference in angle is enough to make them look off...particularly fronts. Good pictures are hard to take.

For those who don't have Bob Cole's book, here is a link to an online version...albeit a very, very brief version (doesn't compare to the book), with a passing mention of the second thigh. For newbies to showing, I also highly recommend it...I've been studying it alot.

**hahaa…Its great how they can "say" so much with their expressions!!!

---SO, there was a breakin in miliraty housing one street up from us, and now im kind of glad Jack is aggressive when it comes to strangers....BAD strangers. Makes me feel safer. He sleeps at the top on the stairs next to my room and his bed faces the front door. SO I KNOw when someone strange is coming into the house. Once when i had a family member (jack didnt know) over, they went out all night and tried to sneek in at 3 in the morning and i heard jack growl like ive NEVER heard before. Sounded like he would have killed...I called him to stop and he did, but now i know when a REAL stranger comes in, Jack with at least give me a chance to prepare myself...!!-----

Thats one thing Im thankful for with the recent breakins around here...and its unfortunate because ive always felt SO safe in Military housing...But its some group of teenagers that are Navy brats and live here too....yeay, not.**
