Hello! My boyfriend and I have a new puppy Basenji girl…about 4 months old. We are very excited yet I am glad to have this forum as a resource to help us out. Looking forward to sharing stories!
Delighted that Kane is finally on the mend - you will see his weight gain in leaps and bounds now he no longer has those unwelcome little visitors.
Keep a close eye on him though and get back to the vet at the first sign of any more troubles.

Pat yes we did get Jaycee's AKC application at the time we got her. Have not got cert back yet as we were really slow in her name made us slow in mailing.

Great, it would be good if you gave Sally W the information for her website to update the pedigrees. Many of us rely heavily on the pedigree site when thinking about breeding and researching dogs…. You can do contact Sally at Zande Basenjis (just do a seach for her website and drop her an email with the info)....
Welcome taryn and Ripley. I saw Ripley's pics in another thread. Handsome boy. I love the name….makes me want to say Ripley, believe it or not, we got a Basenji!!!

I understand completely. Thank you so much for your advice. I have a couple weeks… If he is Fanconi clear, or carrier I will be happy. He wont have it... Also the parents pedigree... I will decide soon, but if you guys want I can still send pictures... she has been sending me pics of him getting older... Thanks again you guys.
