We lived in Hawaii and had a hard time finding our Koa. We found him in N.Z. !!! Cost was $2,000 but most of it was air fare. He was worth every penney.

@gooberdoofer They don't - not at this time of year ! Basenji bitches come in season in autumn and whelp late November / December. You could perhaps get onto a waiting list for next year - pups will be ready about March. But lists are overflowing with people disappointed this last Spring. Email me privately. It Took Me 1.5 years of looking and talking to breeders before I was able to get on the waiting list in time to get a pup. You have to start preparing and talking to breeders in the early fall in order to get on the reservation list for a puppy by next spring
