fiour basenjis are using a cat box the breeder started this when they were babies we just kept it up hope this helps

@bea I litter box train my babies also, but don't use clay litter.... but sure it is litter for dogs....

yes . i just use the cat box with the dog litter you can buy in the pet supply from chewy.com thank you for the info

Kipawa does this as well, and also prefers to do it with dogs that have a longer coat. I've never had a problem yet, but I do watch carefully. If Kipawa starts going a little overboard, I redirect with a treat, or I will also tell him "time out". Both work for us.

I use this brand: http://www.weatherbeeta.com/ The cover I have for Jala (standard female) is 40cm or 16" (neck to tail measurement). This cover is really warm and waterproof. I would LOVE to involve my B with Lure Coursing. She is a mix, so she could only run in practices, but that's fine with me. I just know she would love it… and I would appreciate her getting the exercise. Unfortunately the closest group that participates in lure coursing is approximately 2 hours away from me.
