Last night on the Amazing Race they were in a park in

! Tokyo and someone right past the team was walking a Basenji. At first I thought it could have been a Shiba but rewinding it it was almost certainly a Basenji.

Robyn, they knew there was a creature out there that even stalked a child. Having the dog with them, off leash, out at dusk was a foolish risk in my opinion. It says she thought the dog was sniffing around– so not sure if that meant she wasn't even watching the dog and thought it was just checking things out (stupid) OR the dog seemed to be scenting something (STILL STUPID) and she stayed. And yeah, she should have had a gun just to protect even herself. It was an unnecessary risk.

Hello, you are a great person to try her with all her problems. Do not use leash, maybe you can find a good halter? That way she will trust you more because it is different feeling.

I am thinking the blue in the eyes is the reflection, not the color. Blue dobes have brown eyes, just like black ones.

Idk if that only works in dogs. but rabbits if its a blue color they must have the blue eyes or its a DQ.

Omgoodness that is a beautiful color! A little on the light side but it is just a puppy and gorgeous none the less. I wonder if you can get new colors passed in dogs like in rabbits. Trust me its a difficult process but its so rewarding to see all the beautiful colors. Chocolate has always been a favorite of mine 🙂

As a Falconer I can tell you that most BOP's will not hunt game( your dog) that they have not had succcess with before. Most Raptors are opportunists aand like a sure thing, with no chance of them getting hurt while subdueing prey. The exceptions are if the bird is starving(middle of winter), or young and stupid. This time of year I don't think either would apply. They do take interest in moving furry objects however. I would never leave a puppy(s) unattended where there are Raptors around…....

When I played the video in my office at home my cat wouldn't stop meowing!
