Kaiser doesn't really have any except his game of steal the humans clothes or whatever mum forgets and leaves in his reach, I know he has something because of the wooden floors as I can hear his prancing around sound, does love his kong ball which has a hole in it which I stuff with freeze dried tripe which when he can't be bothered getting it out plays " here human get it out for me" and bugs us with it until we relent, bugging the cat is a game he likes but doesn't last long as the cat has other ideas.

If he has stones, he may not be marking but may not be able to make it outside in time. I had an elderly girl who could not make it outside in time and as soon as I heard her wake up, I picked her up and took her outside. I had a young female who had urinary crystals and before she was treated as soon as she got to the door she went and she was having to go every couple hours.

Markie, I think when adding a basenji to an existing household, it is most important to just get out and visit with lots of breeders and meet their dogs. Some families of basenjis get along great with other dogs and others are not as good. You really just need to be up front about your expectations and do some visits to see how the dogs are. That way you find a breeder with the temperaments you like and they know what you need in a pup and can match the pup with your household.
