Wanting to organize a Basenji Meet up in OKC or Norman

    I haven't managed to find any Basenji's in my area (Norman OK) and Id like to get together with some other Basenji owners and their dogs and let our dogs socialize and let us human's get to know each other. I love Basenji's and I figured it would be awesome to get them all together at a dog park or something and let them play. I figured this would be a great place to throw this idea out there since SO many members are on this site :)

    Hope this works! I haven't met many Basenji's and would love to. They are my new favorite breed :)

    @laurieannechen There is a SoCal Basenji meetup this Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 9 AM- 12 noon, Laguna Beach Dog Park www.lagunabeachdogpark.com Here is a link to the Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/359744554994753/ Join the Facebook group "Orange County (CA) Basenji Meet Ups" https://www.facebook.com/groups/942444349188499/ They are trying to set up meetups at least once a month. With the COVID-19 virus meetups were on hiatus but now that some dog parks are opening up meetups for Basenjis are starting up again. I live in San Diego so I really have to think about driving 1.5 hours with 2 senior Basenjis. Have fun! Lynn Bilotta

    Not much interest in entering from the show group around here, so I did not enter. Will not be there this year. Will be getting ready for a road trip to Hillsboro, OR the following weekend for the Cascade Hound shows

    They just added a race on Sunday August 28th in case anyone is interested in coming to see what LGRA straight line racing is. It's at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, Ca. We get there early, around 8-8:30 and are there all day.
