  • I have to say one of the best decisions I made was getting zoe. As I sit here and type this she is laying in my lap. She just makes me happy. She is my walking companion and makes it all the more enjoyable. She forgives me for being gone so long at work and greets me like I had been gone for days instead of hours. She also forgives me for being the anchor at the end of her leash thats keeps her from catching that rabbit (though she cant help giving me that reproachful look). She makes me laugh! She isn't always good but she is never bad. She makes life better. I dont know how I went so long without a B!!! I must be crazy, but I'm crazy about her. She is like a piece of chocolate you think just one but then you want another. I only have zoe and i'm thinking 2 maybe 3 would be good.

  • That's really wonderful and well said. Thanks for sharing that!

  • That's very well put - thanks.

  • That is so sweet!:) It's funny how these furkids worm thier way into our hearts…

Well isn't she a sassy little thing? Thanks so much for the information. I had not heard of this one at all. I will Google it to get more info and find where to purchase! Deb

I can't listen to that, it would wake my girl up and well... I'm not into a "sing along" just now. ;) I will say that many canines howl and yodel and bay (at the moon, whenever a fire truck passes, etc.). I'm not certain that any one breed is distinctive enough to have a sound all their own, but many a proud owner would probably assert so.

We use ones from Rukka. Not sure if they’re available everywhere but they are they best ones we have tried (others always fell off, especially in deep snow). I think having two Velcro closures on each sock has been key. I also prefer the soft shell ones as our B seems to accept them more and they don’t twist as much as the ones with a hard sole. Here are the ones I am referring to: https://rukkapets.com/paw-wear/thermal-shoes-black

Over here people aren't even guessing what breed Voodoo might be. The only thing they ask me is if he is a good hunter, what country he came from and what you can hunt with them. That's all they are intrested in, not one has asked what breed he actually is.

I'm glad everything turned out alright. A long time ago I remember hearing that and used it once with Dakota. It's hard NOT to chase after them and run in the opposite direction but it really does work. We put up a 4 foot wrought iron fence around the front yard. Mine are pretty good about staying in when the door is opened but I would never totally trust them. Hubby did once leave the door and the gate wide open and all three took off down the block. Luckily a neighbor had his dog out and used him as bait to get our three back.
