Seek B-Friendly Housing in Seattle

Off Topic
  • Hello! I'm moving up to Seattle in the next few months (between April-June) and need to find a B-friendly place to stay. A house with a fenced backyard in the Bellevue/Kirkland area would be perfect. If you have any leads, please PM me. Thanks! ~ Lori ~

  • Welcome to the PNW!
I am about an hr from you via ferry ride.
Let me see if I can find out about pet friendly housing from my all breed rescue club.

  • Hello Sharron,

Thanks so much for your help! I know it's going to be tough to find a place – I actually have two dogs, my B and a Collie/Pharaoh Hound -- so I'm starting my search now. Any help and networking that you can provide will be MUCH appreciated! :-)

Hi IMBJ, I'm not in Japan but my son & grandsons live in the Bay Area and he has a friend who teaches in Tokyo. No word yet from her. I'm glad so glad the tsunami spared SF. I hope you and your B are okay!

If I was that dog I'd take a bite out the cat's pretty butt when it sleeps…just me... Very funny clip..

@Natalplum: You both are in my thoughts. I hope your DH comes home safe and healthy. You will NEVER be lonely with your B's around. They are the best to call on for some love and comfort. Not to mention a lot of laughs! That's the best thing having a B brought into my life. I was so depressed, and then along came a B to make me laugh again. Worth their weight in gold, for sure….

Humans can get Fanconi. Here is an excerpt on Dr. Gonto and his progress. <<“The veterinary protocol is no more than the correct application of established, sound, scientific and accepted methods of human medical practice applied to veterinary use for this particular Syndrome,” stresses Dr. Gonto. A similar protocol is now being used in the treatment of the people version of Fanconi Syndrome, allowing its human victims to lead nearly normal lives as long as they take their supplementary nutrients, buffers, protein and water.>> So Dr. Gonto's protocol is also being used to treat the human form of the same Fanconi Strain!

I may take you up on that - if I can't get in where I typically stay and am familiar with. I've stayed in a couple of dives that I'd not care to return too. Seems like even if it's 'high' season - I should be able to risk waiting until I get there to see what the weather is like - I could go down to Fort Myers - I did that once before when it was too rainy and gloomy in Tampa area. I may just get one night somewhere certain and then just decide when I get there. Doesn't bother me much but hubby is a bit less willing to risk it.
