Glad he has found a home, so sad he was neglected for a time, how did that happen? If for whatever reason we can't keep Kaiser he is to go back to his breeder and be rehomed by her.
Jolanda and Kaiser
He is a possible B/Terrier mix. Owner has to give him up due to health problems. He is neutered with all shots current and is microchipped. Gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs! He is housebroken and knows many commands. Here is what the owner had to say about him in an e-mail:
MAX IS NOT A PUREBRED BASENJI, HOWEVER HE HAS ALOT OF LOVE TO GIVE. HE WELCOMES YOU IN THE MORNING WITH A VERY LOW HUMING, AND SOMETIMES HE WILL SPEAK BY OPENING HIS MOUTH WHILE HUMING. IT'S VERY CUTE. HE OBEYS COMMANDS, WALKS WELL, USES A DOGGIE DOOR, HE WILL BARK IF THERE IS SOMEONE CLOSE BY WHO SHOULDN'T BE, HIS WEIGHT IS ABOUT 40 # AND ISN'T A BIG DOG, HE HAS ALL HIS SHOTS.
