Asking $30 and needs home now! Needs someone to be with her all the time. She is spayed and has 3 year rabies. She is fawn color-whatever color that is for a B!

I have not contacted the owner to see if she is still available or who the breeder is. Bakersfield is approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles.

I would take her in a heartbeat if I had room.. unfortunately I'm pushing my limits with my father already, as I've saved a few cats while living with him again. She sounds like a wonderful dog. I have no doubt that the bites were provoked. Dogs, especially Basenjis, can be very sensitive. If you don't understand that you're dealing with an animal that has feelings too, you're in trouble. I will keep her in my prayers. May she find the best fur-ever home!

Advertised as an African dog! Owners did not know what type of dog they were buying. This is near Amish country-only 25 miles away from Lancaster and I wonder if they bought her from a local breeder. Has anyone contacted them to find out any additional information like registration, breeder, etc.? Jennifer
