@hyacinthe Have you found a Besenji? I have a 5-month old male Besenji that I need to re-home.

@tanza said in House of the Basenji: @WingedLion - Would that be the breeder in PR? I suggest you read my post on the post by the person looking for a puppy in So. California I have read your post and replied to it.

Ignore the above from jurytan who is obviously a spammer. This is the UK breed club list of breeders: http://www.basenjiclubofgb.org/breeders.php Another club listing: http://www.northernbasenji.org.uk/

I have submitted an application to BRAT and checked with all the breeders in my area, thanks though!

My gut feeling is if you can't find a dog who is utterly good with cats already, your best and safest bet is a puppy. I suggest you get on a couple of breeder's list and wait for the perfect pup for your house.

@DebraDownSouth: Still don't know why Debbi is really Terri, but at least I have the dogs sorted. Long story, but all with good reason :-) Teri is a good person and treats her dogs like kings. She does good by them and those pups deserve good homes… sooner than later we hope!
