How is the crate training with Ripley going? It's been awhile since we've heard any progress.

I just think that he's settling into your schedule. Dogs are creatures of routine. You may want to teach a "settle down" command for the weekend evenings, and of course, really tire him out during the day on the weekends. a really wiped out dog isn't going to want to play all night.

one time when we came home my girlfriend walked into the house while i was getting the baby out of the car. she came running back outside. yelling at me saying "You cant kill him, you just cant!". I walked in to find the most ungodly mess you ever seen. but i can honestly say that i have never lost my temper with him, just got very frustrated
