Another poster has used one for years, it unclips quickly so you can stop if the dog needs to potty, and it keeps them at your side, rather than in front of you!

I'm about to pick up my basenji fairly soon, and, in the meantime, decided to learn a few things from others here in this forum. Hope I can learn some things that will help me better raise my puppy basenji.

WELCOME! Is your pup from a breeder or rescue? If a breeder, many here have related dogs so it's fun to see the connections. My girl is a rescue, so only the people from the same hoarder they were taken from are related.
