He was posted to the BRAT rescue group list. He is a 3 year old male Basenji mix who weighs 25 lbs. He was a stray and is in the Clifton City Pound. The volunteers from Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels-BARK are working hard to coordinate a permanent home for him. Please contact Amy Gray at gray.amyliz@gmail.com if you are interested in him.

Clifton TX is located 35 miles northwest of Waco.

I sent Yachtz' information along to Muttville. They are a Bay Area rescue that specializes in senior dogs, and they have a wide network of supporters. Yachtz should at least get a cross-listing with them, if not a foster or adopter!

I guess for some people he is too large for a Chi and not quite a Basenji-too small as he weighs 15 lbs. He is estimated to be 5 years old. If you know someone who might be interested in him or a rescue group that could take him, please forward the information. He is a male, Chihuahua / Basenji Mix. He has been at the Van Nuys shelter since OCTOBER 15, 2011. Because "CODY" has been at the shelter so long he is running out of time. Due to the shelter running over capacity he will be euthanized soon if he does not get adopted. Please if you are looking for a dog consider adopting "CODY" and giving him a second chance.
