It's a good thing I don't live anywhere in the US. I would have a house FULL of rescued B's!!…..and they would probably all stay with me too....

Thank you Jennifer. It was your post about the June auction that I saw when I was googling looking for rescues who might be going so that I would not bid against them. I joined yahoo and filled out the form to join the rescue group so hopefully that will work out. Thanks again for your time and help.

I guess for some people he is too large for a Chi and not quite a Basenji-too small as he weighs 15 lbs. He is estimated to be 5 years old. If you know someone who might be interested in him or a rescue group that could take him, please forward the information.

"CODY" needs a second chance. He is a male, Chihuahua / Basenji Mix. He has been at the Van Nuys shelter since OCTOBER 15, 2011. Because "CODY" has been at the shelter so long he is running out of time. Due to the shelter running over capacity he will be euthanized soon if he does not get adopted. Please if you are looking for a dog consider adopting "CODY" and giving him a second chance. He is at the East Valley Shelter in Van Nuys. Benny was surrendered to us and is a bit timid at first, but once she warms up she will love you. She is very attentive to herself most of the time, but she is extremely treat motivated and takes them politely.
