RE: Basenji Clothing
I use this brand:
http://www.weatherbeeta.com/
The cover I have for Jala (standard female) is 40cm or 16" (neck to tail measurement). This cover is really warm and waterproof.Subaruthie, the hoodies you made look so cool!

RE: Bushy tail
OK - I don't have a clue how to trim a tail. Do you think it's possible to get Daisy's tail in better shape? It has gotten very bushy in the last few weeks! The actual tail stem is very thin compared to the fur camoflauge.

Do we win the contest for bushiest tail?
that's not a tail…that's a brush! That is actually very cute!

RE: Are tri owners crazy or is it just me?
My parents tri is incredibly naughty too. I remember her best stunt was standing in the middle of the dinner table helping herself to cake! One of the guests left a chair out.

RE: Ask To Pet First…
We have a store here (won't mention the name) where some people let their dogs run around without a leash! It has never been a problem, but I do pick Jala up when there are little kids around. I just don't trust them. They usually try to touch or pull her tail!

RE: A diagnosed biter
I would give your dog the chance to have a behaviorist/trainer work with him for a couple of months.

RE: Itchy foot??
it could be an allergy to something he is coming into contact with while walking. considering that it is only on one paw, there could be something embeded in there. It might be a good idea to have a vet look at it closely. Hope it get's better soon.

She is absolutely gorgeous! Love the racing harness as well. Me want!

RE: Chicken?
I make boiled chicken with rice, carrots, green beans and sometimes peas. He loves it the first day, but he doesn't like eating "leftovers" the next day. And yet he'll eat an old deep-fried chicken wing that he "discovers" near the park. (And nearly rip my hand off if I try to get it away from him.) Go figure!
I am also not aware of any problems with feeding chicken. Should be fine as far is I know.

RE: Question…
Poor thing…What kind of treat did she get? Hopefully it's just the grass causing the vomiting...
If she is obviously hungry, I would feed her a little less than normal and if she gets dry food, mash it up with warm water so it is easier on her tummy. Just keep a eye on her at this stage I would say, but if she isn't pooping and keeps vomiting she will need to go to the vet. -
RE: Help with socialization
Hi there. I think that it is a great idea that you want to go to a dog training specialist to try to correct this problem. If you get a good one they will be able to help.

RE: Can anyone please explain this to me
My Jala came from a similar situation. The breeder just wanted to flick her off after having showed and bred from her because her home situation changed. I mean, it's sad, but happens. It just makes me love Jala more.
